I absolutely love this bouncer/swing combo. I received this as a baby shower gift and it is the best thing I received. I have not had any issues. We've used this consistently for almost 7 months now. It is by far a lifesaver for your sanity sometimes :) but I would highly recommend this. We also removed the tray with just a screwdriver. No issues with the motor either.

I just bought this used. The previous folks used it for 6 months. I read reviews prior to getting it and heard about the tray.
For anyone complaining about the tray:
All you need to remove the tray is a screwdriver (or other small metal pointy object - a key might even work) to push a pin on the tray arm in and then slide it back. We are going without the tray for now but may put it back on later. Sure, it doesn't come off super easy, but it does come off and reattach. No biggie.

We have not had problems with the motor. The model we have has a power adapter which we keep plugged into the wall - not sure if folks who have problems tried it with the battery or not? The housing for the motor does seem a bit flimsy - all plastic and such.
PROS:
The chair can be lifted off the swing without releasing any levers (it relies on gravity to hold it in place). This is super nice as we can do it while the baby is asleep.

Even though the bouncer has two vibration modes, it is springy enough to be slowly bounced by your foot or hand.
CONS:
I wish they would have made the bouncy chair capable of running on the power cord too.

I totally love this swing. I bought it from a baby consignment store. It is in excellent shape and works well. I love the size.of the seat. I love the easiness of removing the swing to use as a bouncer and also to use to feed her in. I have no problem with the tray. I like the fact that you can push the overhead toy bar back to get the baby out. I like that it is also easy to recline the seat . I bought a soother swing and she does not like it at all. Love...love....love it. Everything works great for being second hand. No problems with the motor at all for sound or movement.

Motor broke and on backorder

We received this as a shower gift. Very disappointed that the motor died in under 3 months of use. Even more disappointed that the motor is on backorder for 6-8 weeks. By the time we get the replacement motor, our son will be too big for the swing. Definitely not worth the price.

We're experiencing the same problems as Einer--motor makes a God-awful racket, doesn't keep the swing going and shuts off. Will be calling Graco to see about a replacement.
If the motor worked, I think we'd love this. Our baby loves the vibrating bouncy seat (though we took the cheap, useless tray off), and it's easy to latch into the swing (which he's happily falling asleep in--as long as we're there to push it!).

I was excited when I saw that this was a 2 in 1 option as we don't have a lot of room for baby items and it matched our travel set and pack and play. However, the first time we tried to use it, the swing moved for a couple of minutes and then stopped moving. We shut it off and tried it again the next day and had the same issue. The motor is noisy and sounds like it starts to skip and get off on its timing. I called Graco and they quickly sent us a new motor assuring that this would resolve the issue. We put the new motor on and still have the same problems! Our son is only 8lbs so there is no way he is too heavy for the motor. I am now finding myself turning it on, waiting for the swing to stop, pushing him to get it going again, waiting for it to stop, pushing, repeat... I am very dissapointed with this product and would return it if we wouldn't have discarded the box weeks before we actually tried using it. (I also agree with other posts about the impractical tray attachment.)

The swing itself is great. Love the music, the different speeds, the way the baby sits in the seat. The bouncer comes off easily. The only negitive to this is the tray. I don't like the way it laches at all, not to crazy about the big leg divider. Would give as a gift.

I would give this swing a five star if it wasn't for the motor. We've been through three of them already in just three months. Graco has been quick to replace them, but it's a shame that they have to.

The Duo 2 in 1 Swing & Bounce is the greatest invention ever!! The swing has many comforting aspects to it, music and nature sounds all with volume control and the seat has vibration to sooth your baby to sleep as they swing. Then as if that wasn't enough you can remove the seat and place it on the floor for the bouncer and not have to purchase it seperately. My baby loves every aspect of his Swing & Bounce and, I couldn't imagine surviving without having it.

Grandma and grandpa purchased this for our daughter and it is wonderful! We love that if we cannot take the swing into a room that we can pull the bouncer out and our daughter is just as content. We are also very pleased that it can plug into an outlet versus using dozens of batteries! Great purchase would recommend this product to anyone with a baby, in fact just purchased it for my brother and his expecting wife!!

Our son had bad reflux when he was little and he slept tin the swing seat often because it is very comfortable and keeps him upright. The vibration and ability to bounce the back of the seat back and forth were the only things that soothed him for a length of time. The seat snaps right in and out, very easily and securely, and you can take it anywhere! We sit him in it to play while we are doing something around the house and have taken it traveling often. It is also easy to wash! Definitely worth the buy.

We have a 1 month old and he loves both the bouncer and the swing. He will fall asleep easy especially with the lullaby music (the nature sounds are not all that natural). My only complaint with this product is that the table is not removable. Our baby may use it when he's older but for now it is unnecessary and in the way. The table is also difficult to close so we just usually leave it open. However, this is a great buy since you have the flexibility of using either the swing or bouncer. Is also great since the bouncer is easy to move to different rooms in the house.

I bought this off a friend after she used it for only a couple months, it worked for about 2 more weeks and than the motor in the swing started making funny noises and wouldn't turn off. now the swing either stays stuck on or won't even turn on. would not recommend spending the money.

I just put together our new Graco swing for our grandchild to find out that it does not work. It's plugged in with new batteries and still nothing. Very frustrating as we need it for our new Grandbaby!
