This is a good monitor- not the best but not the worst. It works for us because we don't have a huge house and don't need to take it everywhere we go. It doesn't last very long on only batteries and it has a faint hum when plugged into the cord. If you want something to carry around with you for long periods of time, I suggest finding another one or stocking up on batteries.

Great inexpensive monitor

We purchased these monitors when we moved our son to his room on the other side of the house. The have clear sound and the vibration feature is helpful. Would recommend to my friends.

I got this monitor to listen for my newborn while playing outside with my toddler. We tried it out tonight while we ate dinner and the baby was resting in her room. I had the base on the nightstand and she was in her crib across the room. The sound was very clear without static. I wish the base took batteries for more options for placement in her room. Also, the nightlight feature is very nice but you have to switch the whole unit on for the light to come on, even though it has a separate switch. Not that big a problem since it has to stay plugged in. Another minor negative, once the batteries are in the parent unit you pretty much need a screwdriver to get them back out! Another positive is the parent unit and the base are very lightweight, even with batteries in the parent unit. Overall pleased so far and hoping the reception stays clear when I'm using it outside. Also hoping it doesn't drain the 3 AAA batteries too quickly as I don't think I'll ever use the parent unit plugged in.

I cannot express how much I HATE THIS PRODUCT. I bought this monitor because the one I had broke. It was a safety 1st monitor that was dropped way too many times. This Graco monitor picks up interference from any and everything around it. It doesn't have to be electrical items. I moved it from room to room and it still did not work. I bought this item at 10pm and will be replacing it first thing in the morning. I cannot take the static anymore. If you want a good monitor, this is NOT the product for you.

We just bought a cheap monitor before my son was born but it recently broke! that monitor did a great job but we decided to go with this graco monitor because i thought that graco was a good company! i am so disapointed with this monitor! it is horrible! it has a ridiculous amount of static! it took me awhile to even get used to it sleeping at night thats how much static it has! its constantly picking up cell phones and it makes noises when i turn light switches on and off. i am VERY dissapointed with this product and would absolutely not reccomend this product to anyone! you can get a cheaper monitor that actually works better!

Worst Purchase Ever

I am so disappointed in my purchase of this baby monitor. I had a very old baby monitor that worked great, you could hear a pin drop. That monitor finally died and I needed a new monitor fast. I went to the store and my fiance and I bought this product thinking that Graco was a good brand and that this would be a good monitor for our needs. We got it home tested out and it was horrible!! We figured that when my children went down for a nap that we would try it out then to see if it worked better than when we first tested it. It turned out it was still horrible. It couldn't even pick up my son hopping out of bed and talking. My daughter is pretty young and I was extremely nervous to leave her alone without having a proper monitor, so after spending decent money on this product I was forced to go out and buy a different product to replace it. My fiance and I are very upset about our purchase on this product and would never recommend it to anyone. Do not buy this product, you will regret it.
